Founded in 2011, Vlone is the brainchild of Ian Connor, A$AP K, A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and A$AP Bari, who together shared the same passion for clothing and music. Of all the founders, the only one not involved in music is Ian Connor, who is more associated with being an influential name in street fashion. Vlone lives by the motto “Live Vlone and die Vlone”, inspired by the cult movie Donnie Darko, and aims to express the various different lifestyles that lovers of the brand possess. In the present day, Vlone has partnered with various music artists on unique collaborations, with household names such as Juice Wrld, Kodak Black, NAV, and the late Pop Smoke.
